The prime objective of the post graduate department of commerce and management is to equip students with bedrock of management skills to help them navigate through the complex business environment of today. The core curriculum designed in combination with academics and industry practitioners, provides them the opportunities to master new skills and explore varied perspectives. The emphasis here is on practical knowledge and personalized learning.
The greatest benefits that the department relishes is the support of the parent trust i.e. S.N. Joshi Memorial Charitable Trust who are in forefront of providing quality education. Along with it another advantage is the highly experience faculty, who have worked for more than 5 to 10 years in their respective field.
A strong finance/management base is created at Unger graduate level, especially in the course of B.Com (Hons.) and BBA so that they can pursue MBA, M.Com or any other professional program as per wish.

Choosing area of specialisation:

Each candidate shall choose an area of specialization by the end of the 2nd semester. Initially only two specializations will be offered viz.

In each of these specializations, there will be SIX papers in total, and THREE papers will have to be studied in 3rd Semester & remaining THREE papers will be studied by students in 4th Semester. The further details in this regard are as under:
